Salos conducted the DWOP & due to it being a remotely located MPD/HPHT well a theme of right-first-time was adopted. Teams were challenged to mitigate the threats to flawless execution.

Salos were then engaged to train & coach Operator & Drilling Contractor personnel for this challenging deepwater exploration well. Salos delivered immersive simulator & classroom training (onshore & rigsite) focusing on:-

•MPD & HPHT practices, procedures & theory.
•Practicing Advanced Well Control.
•Human Factors awareness training, with HF crew resource management techniques.
•Coaches deployed to the wellsite to conduct further coaching & training of all drilling related personnel incorporating the HF CRM techniques.
•This well came in 17.1 days ahead of plan & met its well and HSE objectives.
