Grant Wallace has some 20 years’ experience within the energy sector and has held a variety of senior roles and Directorships. Grant has been with SSL since 2013 and was initially SSL’s Audit Director, where his team focused on assisting clients to ensure that they are operationally ready for HPHT operations. He has held other Directorships within the business prior to being appointed as MD in 2016.
Bob Dickson has over 35 years’ experience working in the drilling industry covering many aspects of drilling engineering and management on normal and HPHT wells. Bob’s previous positions include: Wells Team Leader, Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Engineer for a number of operators including Amoco, Aramco, Engie, Hess and Talisman. He has extensive experience with jack-ups, semi submersibles, drillships and landrigs and has worked in North Sea, Middle East, Russia, Norway, North Africa and has also peer reviewed wells in Asia. Bob will be responsible for overseeing our day to day operations
Wells Engineering Manager
Alewijn Schouten has 40 years’ of experience and has held senior positions in Drilling and Well Engineering with Shell, worldwide, including managing the Shell Drilling School. He held positions such as Well Engineering Manager, Drilling Engineering Program Director, Operations Manager, Drilling & Completions Manager. Following retirement, Alewijn joined Schlumberger Business Consulting as Well Engineering Advisor. He advised the various project teams worldwide and worked on Capability and Safety Systems in Australia post the Montara blow-out.
Garry Erskine is a former Royal Regiment Leadership instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and a former Regimental Sergeant Major with the Royal Scots. He has extensive experience in the training and mentoring of other coaches whilst performing his role as a Director of the Army School of Leadership Studies. Garry has delivered training to over 2500 personnel at all levels. He has a unique coaching and training talent and leads SSL in our operational coaching approach.
Administration & Finance Manager
Susie Keely has worked for a number of legal and financial organisations and has a strong administrative background. Susie has been with Salos since 2015.
