Special Projects

Main areas of concern are team building, risk assessment, leadership and safety. The team understanding of these issues is vital. Team work and communication are essential to successful meeting project objectives. New challenges will always be present in special projects. There will be the case often where new players come in and out of the team’s work area. This in itself will bring emotional and practical pressures on the core team members. Integrating and de-integrating these individuals must be handled so the team does not become de-stabled or drained. The supervisors must keep the big picture in front of them and not get focused on details by taking their eyes of the ball. Keeping the team informed and upbeat are daily pressures weighting on supervisors. Management must keep a keen eye on the team and the team chemistry.

It is SSL's pleasure to provide:

  • Management Review
  • Audit of equipment and personnel
  • Review of Operating Manuals
  • Onshore team training: Team Chemistry and Leadership
  • Onshore and worksite coaching
