Coaching in HPHT Wells
Main areas of concern are ensuring the team stays within primary well control boundaries and the prevention and managing of hole losses. If a well control incident develops the potential for a very high stress level situation is real. If the stress levels are not relieved then good decision making abilities were restricted. This can lead to more re-action than pro-action. If a poor choice is taken it can complicate the situation and raised stress levels higher leading to some costly errors. The prevention of hole losses and managing of same are critical in meeting project objectives.
